Breaking News: First FamilyMart Outlet in Penang Officially Open

Finally the wait is over! Penang has our very first FamilyMart Outlet operating in Karpal Singh Drive. As confirmed from FamilyMart’s Facebook page, the outlet has officially opened its door TODAY.

FamilyMart is the Japanese convenience store franchise chain and is the 2nd largest convenience store chain behind 7-Eleven. FamilyMart Malaysia are owned by Maxincome Resources Sdn Bhd which is one of QL Resources Bhd subsidiary.

FamilyMart has become popular because it is the first convenience store selling soft serve ice cream and fresh snacks. If you had a chance to travel to Japan, I’m sure you will be amazed by the array of food options and choices available at FamilyMart stores. Don’t put your expectations as high but I’m sure it is not as disappointing as our boring old 7-Eleven. Here are what you may expect from FamilyMart outlets here.
