Who doesn’t love an endless supply of food buffet and free-flowing wines on a Sunday afternoon? Sunday brunching is one of the best way to spend quality time with friends and family. While champagne brunches are now getting less common and usually offered as a premium add-on, restaurants are now offering sparkling wines and Prosecco as an alternative instead. Here’s my list of the best places to enjoy boozy Sunday brunches in Kuala Lumpur.


Sunday Roast at The Ritz-Carlton Kuala Lumpur

No longer serving champagne, instead The Sunday Roast provides free flow of Prosecco, wine and beer at RM398 per pax. Also, we have access to the finest Italian water the San Pellegrino sparkling water. If you are just there for the food, the buffet is priced at RM198 per pax. The buffet lunch starts from 12pm to 3pm, we had more than enough time to savour every last bite our stomachs can muster. The live band playing their relaxing jazz music adds depth to the ambience. The quality of the food are exceptional and for the whole experience it was really money well spent. Marriott Bonvoy members are able to enjoy additional discounts up to 20% for Gold Elite status.

Sunday Jazz Brunch at The St. Regis Kuala Lumpur

Inspired by the French daily markets, the Sunday Jazz Brunch at The Brasserie of The St. Regis Kuala Lumpur plays emphasis on quality imported produce.

Whet the appetite with an array of seafood from the Royal Alaskan King Crab and freshly shucked Fine de Claire oysters, to the freshly smoked and cured salmon that mimics ones you would find in a farmers market.

Sofitel Kuala Lumpur offers one of the best Sunday boozy brunches in Kuala Lumpur. Be ready to be inundated with a plethora of all-you-can-eat local and international cuisine, as well as free-flow of house wine, beer and cocktail. The buffet stretches for 3.5 hours with live music to accompany. You will be spoiled for choice and filled with plenty of decision-making opportunities with limited amount of room to stomach. It guarantees for an exceptional time with family and friends. At RM188 nett per pax, this was one of the most value-for-money Sunday brunches in Kuala Lumpur.
