Free Parking in Penang till 4-Sept as Penang Smart Parking App is Down

Latest update: PSP app will be back on 5-September 2020.

In a media statement made today (2 September 2020), YB Jagdeep Singh Deo announced that the Penang Smart Parking (PSP) App is down due to technical issue.

While the app developer is working rigorously to resolve the issue, it has been declared that parking will be complimentary from 1st to 4th September 2020 (Friday).

Users who had made payments during 1st and 2nd September will be receiving a full refund via the PSP eWallet app. Any compounds which has been issued for parking offences during this period will be cancelled automatically.

Penangites are urged to obey traffic laws and will be fined if found to violate offences such as parking outside the lot, blocking the road, etc.
